Gletscherschmelze (melting glacier), a Project about the melting glaciers due to climate change

The Winter season of 2023 was exceptionally poor, characterized by minimal snowfall and abundant sunshine. This prompted me to contemplate the implications for our Swiss glaciers and future winters in the Alps.

In this simpler yet meaningful project, my aim was to raise awareness about the alarming issue of vanishing glaciers.

To show the rapidity of this process, I recorded three  ice cubes for 7 hours, highlighting how quickly ice, particularly "our glaciers," is melting away, often without us even realizing it.




Overnight, from 6PM to 11AM, temperature dropped to 1°C
