NoGap, inclusive Design project: modular bag system
Tobias Inauen and Nuriel Delmée | Kooperationsmodul Paraplegie Zentrum Schweiz x Design Preis Schweiz | 5. Semester | Trends & Identity | Tutor: Henriette-Friederike HermInclusion means, for NoGap, not excluding anyone – no matter how you get around: with a walker, stroller, wheelchair, bicycle, or on foot. Our bag system closes the gap between the needs of wheelchair users and pedestrians, while also creating space for personal style and Identity.
NoGap addresses challenges many wheelchair users face: products designed for them are often overpriced, reinforcing discrimination and financial barriers. In addition, many bags lack the flexibility to adapt to different mobility needs.
The modular NoGap system offers innovative ways to personalize your everyday life: whether it’s shape, color, or functionality – everything can be customized. Thanks to a clever magnetic closure, bags can be easily attached and securely fastened.
At the center is the main bag, which can be expanded with smaller bags and accessories such as carabiners, tags, or charms. Its thoughtful design allows easy access to valuables – no matter how you move. Made from recycled tarpaulins, NoGap also stands for sustainable use of resources.
NoGap is more than just a bag system. It’s a statement for a future where everyone can express their own style – inclusive, practical, and sustainable.
